En el cerro de Tepeyac, hoy norte de la capital mexicana, la\u00a0Virgen\u00a0se le apareci\u00f3 al ind\u00edgena Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin, quien hab\u00eda sido bautizado al cristianismo por los franciscanos.
